Epson PictureMate comparison

The Dash model is the same as the Zoom except for the added a DVD reader and CD-RW burner found on the Zoom PM 290. The rest is identical so the Epson PictureMate comparison reviews for one is good for the other.

  • Both Epson PictureMate prints 4X6inch photos.
  • They both have a 3.6-inch LCD preview screen and a variety of options for selecting, viewing and printing pictures.
  • The supplied software permits basic photo effects (monochrome or sepia, adding borders, removing red eye and adjusting brightness and tone).
  • A top resolution of 5760 by 1440 dpi and 3 picoliter droplet size create images that are almost equivalent to photo-lab quality.
  • The cost of each print comes to about 25 cents per photo.(ink and paper expenses)
  • The average speeds is between 38 and 42 seconds per photo (from photo selection to printed picture)
